This is a very nice 1977 Australian Albert Productions pressing on the blue label (second issue, no kangaroo). I very rarely see clean early AC/DC records from the homeland and this one is strong. I've done quite a few shootouts for this album over the years, and while there may be versions I prefer for sound, there's something I just love about listening to these guys on an old Aussie pressing. It just feels right. Many people like to play by the "country of origin" rule and stick to pressings from the place an album was recorded. It doesn't always lead you to the best sound, but it's certainly something to think about and listen for as you build your collection.
5 stars Allmusic: "The entire album served as a call to arms from a group that wanted nothing more than to celebrate the dirtiest, nastiest instincts humans could have, right down to the insurgent anti-authority vibe that runs throughout the record."
Vinyl: VG+ (faint scuffs that do not affect play)
Cover: VG+ (light creases)
Play notes: Sounds natural and correct, plays quietly
