This is a very clean German Warner Brothers pressing from 1984 that features better sound than most copies I've played. I never see early Australian pressings, and truth be told, have not found those to be the best source for AC/DC sound on most of their albums. I've yet to hear a very good domestic Let There Be Rock either, but maybe there's one out there. This pressing gets a LOT right -- it's very transparent with lots of punch down low, plus full-bodied and solid in a way that many copies just are not. Finding copies that play this quietly is a trick in its own right, as you can imagine most AC/DC records out there look like they've been through it and back!
4 1/2 stars Allmusic: "It's sweaty, dirty, nasty rock, music that is played to the last call and beyond, and they've rarely done that kind of rock better than they did here."
Vinyl: EX (very clean)
Cover: VG+ (strong with light wear around edges)
