This is a 1977 Australian Albert Productions pressing (2nd issue) in beautiful condition. It's close to Near Mint with just a few superficial lines that do not affect play. The sound is very good and the vinyl plays with only the slightest surface noise in a few spots. You might be able to put in the work and find a copy that takes the music a little further, but trust me: it is not easy.
I actually love the sound of the Australian AC/DC pressings even if they aren't always the ultimate. There's this almost grimy quality to the sound that feels so right for the band. It's a bit unrefined and impolite... and that's not a bad way for AC/DC to sound at all.
The album was only released in Australia, it is not the same album as the domestic version with Angus Young on the white cover. Some of the same songs are on both, but this is the band's proper debut as released.
Vinyl: EX (super clean)
Cover: VG+ (light ringwear but solid)
Play notes: A strong copy with the kind of sound I love for this band. Vinyl plays great.
