This is a solid Australian Albert Productions pressing from 1977 in a gatefold cover. This is the second issue of this album (blue center / yellow stroboscope labels, no kangaroo). It's not easy to find clean copies of these early Aussie copies stateside and they go for a pretty penny these days. Unfortunately, so many I've taken a chance on were noisy or otherwise disappointing. This one was so solid I stuck it in my own collection for a while, but I'm ready to unleash it to a new home. The sound is clean, clear, and solid with nice texture to the vocals and good punch down low. The vinyl plays mostly quietly throughout.
4 stars Allmusic: "A stellar album in its own right, and especially crucial in that it marked AC/DC's definitive break with their now seemingly heretical glam rock inclinations, in order to embrace the blue collar hard rock hat would forever after be their trademark."
Vinyl: VG+ (light hairlines, plays well)
Cover: VG+ (light wear to edges)
Play notes: Very good sounding copy that plays mostly quietly
