This is a very strong Sussex Records original pressing. I pick these up whenever I find them in good condition (not that often!) and very rarely do they knock me out like this one did. The sound is super rich and full-bodied with real presence to the vocals and weight to the bottom end. It's also an unusually clean copy with vinyl that plays nice and quiet. Another one of those records that I'd like to quietly re-file on my shelf, but certainly someone out there can give this one a good home. It's such a classic, and this copy does it full justice.
5 stars Allmusic: "This high level of songwriting is sustained throughout the record, making this the greatest testament to his considerable gifts."
Vinyl: EX (a few stray hairlines that do not affect play)
Cover: VG (wear along edges, tiny tears upper right)
Play notes: Wonderful sound and quiet vinyl
