This is a 1970 Warner Bros. domestic original mastered at Artisan and pressed at the Terre Haute plant. When I do shootouts for this album, this is a version that consistently performs well and this pressing is no exception. The sound is killer here and the vinyl plays quietly, definitely something you can't say about every copy out there. These are nearly impossible to find clean and you can imagine why -- if you owned this album, you probably (rightly) played the heck outta it. I still remember the first time I heard a great copy on a serious stereo and just being THRILLED when those first hits came in after the storm sounds. It's one of those audio moments I will never forget.
Vinyl: VG+ (a few faint hairlines that do not affect play)
Cover: VG+ (one minor corner crease, light wear to bottom edge. Really nice!)
Play notes: Excellent sound and quiet vinyl. It's a beast!
We prefer to overdeliver and therefore grade conservatively. Our scale runs Near Mint (NM), Excellent (EX), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+), Good (G).
