This domestic Fantasy Blue Label original has excellent sound, easily defeating the other copies I played against it in a recent shootout. In my experience Fantasy's vinyl pressings are all over the map, ranging from excellent like this one to "what the heck happened there?" -- and I have no explanation whatsoever for this. What I do know is this record sounds great -- richer and smoother than most I've played -- and if you're a Creedence fan who wants a great Bayou Country filed on your shelves you will have a hard time finding a better one than this. "Proud Mary" and "Born On The Bayou" both kill on this copy.
Vinyl: EX (super clean, one faint superficial sleeve scuff)
Cover: VG (Nice but has a bit of a wave to it. Presents well.)
Play notes: A strong keeper copy -- sounds wonderful and plays quietly
