This is a British EMI / Regal Zonophone original press with excellent sound and quiet vinyl. A longtime client asked me to track him down a top copy of this one a while back and I was quite impressed when I finally heard it at its best. This copy performs very well, with a killer bottom end and tons of energy. The album to me shares a lot with McCartney's debut, with Edmunds clearly working from a deep love and understanding of various forms of contemporary music and playing most of the instruments himself. A very fun listen that sounds like nothing but itself. 4 stars Allmusic: "Rockpile established his sound -- not only his revivalist tendencies, but also his method of meticulously recreating the sound and style of classic early rock & roll, R&B, and country records."
Vinyl: VG+ (just a couple of faint hairlines visible under hard light - clean!)
Cover: VG+ (strong -- really nice)
Play notes: A wonderful sounding copy on quiet vinyl
