This is a strong Asylum White Label (standard, not promo) pressing complete with the custom thick inner sleeve. This band gets a lot of flak these days but I don't think they are any sillier than a number of bands from the era. (Is the hatred a Big Lebowski thing? That's been my guess.) Whatever. It's fun music and exceptionally well recorded, and when you get a strong copy like this one, the sky's the limit. You almost never see clean original pressings in the bins and the later ones simply do not do justice to the killer recording by the great Glyn Johns. Here, it's captured beautifully. I especially like the way Earlybird sounds, the banjo sounds just right to me.
Vinyl: VG+ (light superficial wear)
