This is a British Original DJM pressing on the cool translucent dark red vinyl with a textured gatefold cover. This is a great album with strong material throughout including Rocket Man, Honky Cat, and Slave. In my experience the early UK pressings of this album are the only game in town if you're looking for top sound and this one is truly excellent. It's really tough to find copies that play quietly but this does a great job, very lightly ticky in some quiet passages but nothing that comes close to overpowering the music. Unless you've got a killer Brit original in your collection I'm guessing this copy will be a big step up from whatever else you may have -- it's an incredible sounding record... rich, smooth, punchy and dynamic.
Cover: VG (small bump and split on the top seam)
Play notes: Excellent sound, and a very quiet copy as these early pressings go
We prefer to overdeliver and therefore grade conservatively. Our scale runs Near Mint (NM), Excellent (EX), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+), Good (G).
