This is a British original Island Records pressing with 1U/1U stampers, and more importantly INSANELY POWERFUL sound. For those of you not familiar with this album, it's the prog heroes taking on a famous classical piece with wild results. The opening stretch of music is particularly wild and sounds like straight metal to me, something that you might catch on tour with Black Sabbath and never forget. The sound is appropriately massive -- dynamic and full-bodied with detail and texture to the keyboards that really elevates the affair. This isn't the hardest record to find, but I've certainly thrown a lot of dough over the years at copies that don't sound this good or play this well.
