This is an early (1970) British Island Pink Rim pressing with PORKY written in the dead wax. I've played a handful of different versions of this great album and copies like this tend to be some of my favorites. The Pink Label originals can be out of this world, but good luck finding a quiet one -- I haven't had a copy like that in ages. This one sounds amazing -- super full-bodied and warm -- and the vinyl plays very quietly. There's a quick spot of surface noise at the lead-in groove but past that it's smooth sailing.
Vinyl: EX (faint hairlines under hard light, plays amazing)
Cover: VG+ (some tiny stains but super nice)
Play notes: An absolutely amazing sounding copy with quiet vinyl
We prefer to overdeliver and therefore grade conservatively. Our scale runs Near Mint (NM), Excellent (EX), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+), Good (G).
