This is a domestic original Capitol pressing that's as complete as they come, with the custom inner sleeve and insert, plus the 3D glasses still attached to the cover. I was recently tasked to find great sounding versions of most of the Grand Funk catalog and it was about as tough a job as any for various reasons. A big one is that these records tend to be pretty partied on, I don't think many people were taking especially nice care of records like this. Here's a copy that was impressively well-kept, and on top of that it actually sounds pretty good! It was mastered at Sterling which certainly helps. The sound is lively and full-bodied which is pretty much what you're looking for with this stuff, who needs anything fancier than that?
Vinyl: EX (faint hairlines visible under hard light, plays well)
Cover: VG+ (light corner wear, label upper right)
Play notes: Sounds good, plays mostly quiet, complete copy with inserts and glasses
We prefer to overdeliver and therefore grade conservatively. Our scale runs Near Mint (NM), Excellent (EX), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+), Good (G).
