This is a very clean 1973 US Prestige Original with excellent sound and music. The great Rudy Van recorded this one and there are VAN GELDER stamps in the dead wax. I've been a big Boogaloo Joe fan since I first heard his great guitar work on funk compilations back in college and I'm always on the lookout for his records, which don't turn up much. The sound is wonderful -- super lively with excellent presence and separation between the instruments. I love my personal copy so much I often use it to demo my stereo for friends.
A great lineup here including Rusty Bryant on sax and Grady Tate on drums.
Vinyl: VG+ (super clean, tiny edge warp that does not affect play)
Cover: VG+ (corner wear, light foxing/discoloration)
Play notes: An wonderful sounding copy with music to match, vinyl plays great
We prefer to overdeliver and therefore grade conservatively. Our scale runs Near Mint (NM), Excellent (EX), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+), Good (G).
