Here's a White Label Promo copy pressed at Monarch with absolutely gorgeous sound for this really powerful music. The first two songs are the uplifting Time Will Tell and the achingly beautiful Many Rivers To Cross, honestly the album could end right there and I'd call it a classic but there's so much more fun before it's done. I've played a ton of copies of this album in shootouts and the better ones like this are something special -- rich, warm, full-bodied sound that kicks the music up to an even higher plane. I don't think Cliff gets anywhere near his due as a songwriter, but at least my guys Jerry Garcia and Harry Nilsson knew well enough to mine his catalog for a little gold. This is sunny day reggae of the highest order, the kind of record I like to play good and loud with the windows open. If your neighbors can't get down with that, I'm not sure how to help them.
Vinyl: VG+ (a couple of superficial marks that don't affect play)
Cover: VG+ (old price tag, some light discoloration and a small tear on back)
Play notes: Plays quietly and sounds wonderful
