This is a Japanese original pressing on Columbia Records, the only version released as far as I can tell. Every few months I spin the wheel on some Japanese records and have a blast auditioning them and listing the best stuff here. I have a few pointers guiding me towards potential winners but like most things in vinyl it's still basically a crapshoot. This one was a ton of fun, and as the cover suggests it's led by Keiko Amae on harp sitting on top of funky early '80s Japanese grooves. I've never heard an album quite like it and I'd be happy to give it a forever home, but I'm guessing someone else out there might want to prevent that from happening and that's an outcome I'm fine with as well! The sound is super rich and very clear, the vinyl plays really quietly, there's a pretty wild cover of Rhapsody In Blue, and the whole thing is just as fun as you're probably imagining.
Cover: VG+ (light wear on top and bottom)
Play notes: Super fun with excellent sound and quiet vinyl
