WOW. This is an absolutely incredible looking (and sounding!) Columbia Two-Eye original pressing with the cover in stunning condition and still in shrink wrap, it comes complete with the lyric insert. I don't think I've ever seen a nicer copy and I'd be surprised if I ever saw one like this again. Most importantly the sound is fantastic and the vinyl plays quietly. It's rich, warm, and full-bodied from start to finish. With delicate music like this any surface noise is readily apparent but on this copy there's very little to speak of. I'm sticking a high price on this one and you can scoff if you like, but I suspect the person who takes this home will feel like they got their money's worth and then some. It's an absolute knockout and I'll be sad to see it go. Copies this good of albums this amazing are exactly why I'm into playing records, and knowing how much someone will enjoy this one is exactly why I like selling them.
5 stars Allmusic: "Many artists work their whole career to create a work as singular and accomplished as Songs Of Leonard Cohen, and Cohen worked this alchemy the first time he entered a recording studio."
