This domestic Warner Bros. promo pressing with TML (The Mastering Lab) stamps in the dead wax sounds absolutely incredible. I cleaned and played a big stack of copies -- no small task with a double album -- and this one delivered an especially powerful listening experience. It's got the kind of sound I'm always hoping for when I play a Little Feat record -- beyond rich and super full-bodied. The clarity and transparency are wonderful -- something I'm always listening for, especially on a live album -- and the energy is strong throughout. The vinyl plays mostly quietly, lightly ticky at the intro but quiet by the time the music kicks off. An all-time classic live album that hits new heights on a copy like this!
4 1/2 stars Allmusic: "There's much to savor on Waiting For Columbus, one of the great live albums of its era, thanks to rich performances that prove Little Feat were one of the great live bands of their time."
Vinyl: VG+ (clean with some faint hairlines)
