This is an amazing domestic original Reprise pressing with 1A/1B stampers and the custom inner sleeve. I have too much love for Neil's catalog to declare a favorite, but Zuma is always in the conversation. I love the way the album was recorded -- nothing phony, nothing fancy... just the sound of Neil and Crazy Horse going for it. There are few things in audio I enjoy more than letting "Danger Bird" and "Cortez The Killer" rip on a killer copy like this one. The sound is big and powerful with the kind of presence that carries the music out of the speakers and throughout the room. On top of that the vinyl plays really quietly throughout. If you love the Horse like I do and you've invested some time and effort into your stereo... you're going to love this copy. Guaranteed!
4 1/2 stars Allmusic: "The music had a lively sound well-suited to the songs, which were some of the most melodic, pop-oriented tunes Young had crafted in years, though they were played with an electric-guitar-drenched rock intensity."
Vinyl: VG+ (faint superficial wear, plays great)
Cover: VG+ (solid)
Play notes: Sounds amazing and plays very quietly
