This is a super clean domestic Columbia promo original. It has a red promo stamp instead of the typical gold on the back, something I don't recall seeing before (though to be fair, I look at so many records I don't even know what I've seen by this point). The sound here is excellent -- it's big, rich, and warm with lots of texture and detail. Surface noise tends to be an issue with early copies of Wish You Were Here -- good luck finding one that gets through the quietest parts of Shine On You Crazy Diamond without at least some friction -- but this one plays nicely, just a bit of light surface noise behind the music at times. This is an absolutely amazing sounding recording, and a killer copy like this one will be a record that floors you time and time again.
Vinyl: EX (super clean)
Cover: VG+ (light ringwear, tiny stain on top, price tag shadow, promo stamp on back)
Play notes: An excellent sounding copy that plays much quieter than most
We prefer to overdeliver and therefore grade conservatively. Our scale runs Near Mint (NM), Excellent (EX), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+), Good (G).
