This is a lovely black vinyl pressing of Siamese Dream. The black vinyl versions were pressed four times between 1993 and 2004 with the same metalwork, so there's no telling what specific pressing this is. What I can tell you is these black vinyl versions tend to have quieter vinyl than the original colored vinyl versions in my experience, and this one is no exception -- it plays like a champ. These were mastered at Sterling and sound pretty good, you can crank the volume (as you should) and it never gets harsh or abrasive. I'm far from a die-hard Pumpkins guy but I think this album is an absolute classic.
Vinyl: EX / VG+ (Record two has some very light hairlines under hard light)
Cover: VG (a tear at the bottom of the front keeps it from being EX, otherwise gorgeous - see image)
Play notes: Quiet vinyl throughout
