This is an original British A&M pressing with strong sound: excellent clarity, dynamic, and punchy. I've played a ton of these over the years and I do think the better UK copies are the place to be, I've heard good American copies but in my mind they are not quite at the same level. It's never easy to track down copies that both sound great and play quietly, this one does a good job on both fronts.
4 stars Allmusic: "Supertramp came into their own on their third album, 1974's Crime of the Century, as their lineup gelled but, more importantly, so did their sound."
Vinyl: VG+ (A superficial mark that doesn't play, end of side two)
Cover: VG+ (some laminate peeling by spine, still very nice)
Play notes: Sounds very good and plays quietly
We prefer to overdeliver and therefore grade conservatively. Our scale runs Near Mint (NM), Excellent (EX), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+), Good (G).
