This is an original Japanese A & M pressing in gorgeous condition. I recently did a massive shootout for this album including a variety of pressings from different countries and eras. The best domestic originals were my version of choice, but there's something very fun about the good Japanese copies. I feel like they are mastered to really pop out of a smaller or less expensive stereo. The sound may not be completely honest to what's on the tape, but it is definitely designed to impress. I think it would be a matter of taste, and I've certainly seen audiophiles swooning over this exact kind of sound. The vinyl plays quietly.
