This is a super clean domestic Sire original with excellent sound and quiet vinyl. The cover is in really nice condition as well and it comes with the lyric inner sleeve. Talking Heads are one of my all-time favorite artists and Stop Making Sense was one of the first two records I ever owned, so I do not take things lightly when it comes to this band. And I'm happy to report after much comparison and consideration that this is a truly excellent copy of their great debut. This pressing has was made with what have consistently been my favorite stampers for this album and this copy did not disappoint in any sense. The sound is very clean and very punchy with excellent clarity to the vocals. Some copies have a slightly murky, opaque quality but you won't hear anything like that here. I could listen to this album all day long and never get bored, when I have a copy like this around I sometimes do just that!
5 stars Allmusic: "They had succeeded as artists, using existing elements in an unusual combination to create something new that still managed to be oddly familiar. And that made Talking Heads: 77 a landmark album."
Vinyl: VG+ (a couple of very faint sleeve scuffs that do not affect play)
Cover: VG+ (tiny crushed corner, light wear)
Play notes: Sounds excellent and plays quietly
