This is a Capricorn Pink Label original copy pressed at Monarch. I mention the Monarch pedigree as many audiophiles and collectors seek their pressings out. They do tend to be one of the more consistently strong pressing plants in my experience, but a couple of letters on the label or in the dead wax are never a complete guarantee with regards to sound quality. The good news is that I do make complete guarantees regarding sound quality, and if you don't agree that this is an impressive copy you can send it back for a full refund. But I don't expect that whoever snags this one will be turning it back my way. The sound is clean, clear, and lively with excellent presence, elements that really bring this classic southern rock to life.
This is probably my favorite Allmans album, it gets 5 starts on Allmusic: "Remains the pinnacle of the Allmans and Southern rock at its most elastic, bluesy, and jazzy.
Vinyl: VG+ (light wear, plays great, a couple of ticks during Elizabeth Reed)
Cover: VG+ (Minor wear on corners and edges, really nice)
Play notes: Amazing sound and mostly quiet!
