Need a MONSTER copy of Abbey Road? Friends, this one definitely qualifies. It's a British Apple pressing from the '70s with some of my very favorite stamper numbers for this album. I've taken part in well over 50 large-scale shootouts for this album over the years and I know the sonic hallmarks of the different pressings intimately. The best copies from this run take the album -- in my mind at least -- to levels that many other versions can't sniff. I've seen pressings with the very same dead wax info destroy all comers in large scare shootouts and sell for hundreds of dollars. I have to ask a lot for this one considering the effort and expense I put in to find it, but I try to keep the prices on this site to an (at least somewhat) approachable level. This copy sounds solid, full-bodied, punchy, smooth, and full of energy. Having the benefit of LOTS of experience on my side, I know this is a top-tier copy. Whoever decided to make a move for it will know the same very quickly after it hits their table.
