This is a beautiful original Elektra pressing of the classic debut by The Cars. They pressed this one at a few different pressing plants but in my mind this is the version that usually sounds the best, and this copy delivers on that promise. If you have a copy at home I bet this one knocks it out, if it doesn't you can send it back for a full refund. It's richer, fuller, and punchier that the other ones I played and the vinyl plays quietly throughout, just a touch of light noise at the very edge of side two that goes away quickly. Every passing year I realize more just what a classic this album is, and when the sound is as good as it is here it would be very hard to argue against it!
