This is a British Decca Red Label Mono pressing from 1970 with surprisingly good sound. I had a stack of early Stones reissues to go through recently and this one was my favorite of them all. So many copies -- and the originals are not immune -- have a gritty and grainy quality. This one is smooth without feeling like it's missing something. It still gives you excellent clarity and a natural feel but is much easier on the ears. I almost never see early British Stones pressings out and about, let alone clean Mono versions!
A great album featuring "Time Is On My Side" and a bunch of other great songs. I think this era of The Stones is pure fun and it's nice that this stuff hasn't been played into the ground.
Vinyl: VG+ (very clean)
Cover: VG+ (nice, light wear)
Play notes: Sounds really good and plays really quietly
