This is a 1973 British stereo pressing in wonderful condition with 1W stampers on both sides. The sound is lively and natural if a bit gritty at times, which is basically about what I've come to expect from this album. That said, this one absolutely murdered some of the other ones on my shelf so you can certainly do a lot worse. Let's call it "raw but right". The bottom end is particularly strong which certainly helps keep things solid.
4 1/2 stars Allmusic: "In 1965, The Stones finally proved themselves capable of writing classic rock singles that mined their R&B/blues roots, but updated them into a more guitar-based, thoroughly contemporary context"
Vinyl: VG+ (very clean, faint hairlines that do not affect play)
Cover: VG+ (nice with a 4" split on top seam)
Play notes: Sounds good and plays really quietly
