This is a stunningly clean domestic Decca White Label Promo copy of Tommy. I quickly threw it on to spot-check it but it sure doesn't look like it's seen much time on a turntable aside from that! The cover and the records are absolutely gorgeous, the lyric book has a bit of light creasing, and the bright blue Decca inner sleeves are the nicest I've seen. I value sound quality above collectability in my vinyl pursuits, but it's hard not to get excited when you find a record like this. The UK originals are where I turn for the ultimate in sound quality on Tommy, but I've got to say this one sounded pretty darn good when I dropped the needle. I'm more than happy to track down a killer Brit copy for my fellow audiophile travelers, but I've got to imagine that someone out there would love to have this in their collection. I kind of hate letting it go but it's been with me on a shelf for years, and I'd feel like I should let someone else appreciate it now.
Cover: EX (minor wear on edges)
Play notes: I barely played it because it's so clean, but no issues to speak of from a quick needle drop
