This is a super clean domestic Asylum White Label Promo copy with excellent sound and mostly quiet vinyl, just a touch of light surface noise behind the music in a few quieter spots. Blue Valentine was the first Tom Waits album I ever heard or owned, and I think it makes a great entry point for anyone who wants to understand his work. It's packed with great songs, stories, and characters. The sound on this copy is wonderful -- clean, clear, and natural with a really strong bottom end. That's the way Bones Howe always recorded Waits, and it sure works well. I could recommend any number of the songs on here, but I remember "Romeo Is Bleeding" with its jazzy feel being the one that first got to me.
Vinyl: EX (super clean)
Cover: VG+ (strong, minor wear to corners and edges)
