Stunning sound! I just played this Warner Bros. White Label Promo copy from 1973 and it absolutely knocked me out. The sound is very rich and full-bodied with excellent clarity and transparency, the vinyl plays quietly throughout. Tony Joe is known as the king of swamp rock but saw more success from other artists covering his songs than he had with his own albums. That means these weren't pressed in huge numbers, which in turn means I felt pretty lucky to find such a nice copy of this one. "Backwoods Preacher Man" is one of my favorite tracks on here, but the material is strong from the first note to the last. Take this one for a spin if you want to hear something a bit outside the mainstream with wildly impressive sound.
Vinyl: VG+ (super clean with light hairlines that don't affect play)
Cover: VG+ (promo sticker, minor general wear - really nice)
Play notes: An excellent sounding copy with mostly quiet vinyl. A few ticks during Taking The Midnight Train
