This is a stunning Columbia Promo pressing of Heavy Weather with absolutely incredible sound. A lot of people think that the key to getting the best sound to an album is getting a copy with the first set of stampers. That's not always true, but in the case of this album 1A/1A copies have always been my favorite and this one was not a letdown in any sense. The sound is big, bold, lively, and dynamic. It's an album that can start to bore me a bit when the sound is too polite, but fortunately that is definitely not the case here. When you get a copy with real power in the grooves like this one, it's a heck of a lot more fun.
Vinyl: EX (super clean)
Cover: VG+ (light ringwear, promo stamp on back)
